Comparative thinking.
Well hello again my fellow steemians!
Comparative thinking...
Well... I believe that to be a loaded thought. You see, taking a step back from the everyday hustle and bustle to care for someone that you've truly appreciated having in your life, an seeing how much you truly love them is something we as people in general most definitely don't do every day.
I've taken this time to see a great analogy in the lives of people... it reminds me a lot of a flower most commonly known as the Surprise Lilly. You see the 1st time I experienced what this flower does I had no idea how it did an what it does best, but it is alot like us. We're planted, watered, and expected to be something great! Much like the Lilly is also planted, watered, an expected to bloom. It creates ALOT of foliage that is not really necessary and then appears to die! But the best part is what we really want to see when it comes back to life! The true beauty of the flower!
If you never continued to water the flower that seemed to die or pulled it up, you would have never seen what was really in store for you.
Moral of the story...
Consider/compare your fellow man. They may have ALOT of foliage you really don't want to see but wait! They may bloom into something far more wonderful than you can imagine.
Luke 12:27-32
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
I'll let you go with that thought for now and until next time... This is @mobile-joat signing out!
