Most definitely evolved, I see everyone from the non existent middle class down to be a form of slave relative to the requirement of earning a income to survive.
We in short are all slaves to the financial system in one way or another, self induced slavery you could even say. If you do not wish to play within the realm of the financial construct then you essentially cast yourself out of the realm and all the benefits it may contain.
We are lured in with flashy things and comforts only to make a requirement of further self slavery to remain within those comforts with those flashy things.

I agree.
I'm thinking in ways to be really free. And every idea includes be "confort free"
To be completely free we would have to be willing to revert back to the ways of early settlers, the pioneers.
Possibly searching out previously unsettled lands but with complete freedom there is also price, it would only be completely realized by the first generation born outside society. No ability to draw support from civilization is the biggest one of all, undocumented people’s have the hardest time when say they need to search out medical assistance.
