The "Sad" Post
Hey everyone, so, more or less I've been on this platform for about a day and a half now, and I am already noticing a trend starting to develop. now, stop me if I'm wrong, Im not sure if this was something that has been going on since the beginning of this site, as in,....when it was first created, but I keep seeing (nearly 5 minutes or so) on the "New" postings up top that people are constantly posting sad stories about themselves.
Now, dont get me wrong, I get it, life can be tough and its not easy for everyone. Some people DO have it better than others, but I just found it a bit weird that nearly every couple of minutes theres a new post with someone who has a sad story and many of them are then asking for upvotes and to be resteemed....which isnt fishy at all!
When I first heard about this platform from a well known YouTuber, he said that it was a place to post content, mainly things that people would find useful in the long run, things that try to give a bit of "something" to a persons experience on the website. I dont know, what i have seen so far could have just been spam bots, but I keep seeing people making postings filled with images that are CLEARLY from google asking for money
I saw one yesterday with a woman saying how she has six children and has no place to go, and if people could find it in their hearts to give her a couple hundred dollars, she also supplied a BTC wallet address and then to top it off ended the post with a picture of a sad looking cat....
Just a bit of a rant I guess, but have other people had similiar experiences on here, I know I cant be the only one.
For what its worth im glad that there ARE actual people on here who post amazing content, Because nearly everything that Ive seen in the "new" section has been a gentle mix of slightly racists posts or people asking for money, you live and you learn I suppose

I had quite a long and interesting conversation with ionlysaymeep. He only says ' meep'. Really, I felt we were getting to know each other quite well, till my friend told me he's probably a robot . What the actual fuck is going on here is what I want to know. Is this a testing ground for artificial intelligence?
Meep is a cool guy, i posted something and he wrote "meep" about 14 times under it
hes either a highly trained robot assassin or someone with a lotttttt of time on their hands
