Corona perspective

Good morning, all. I just wanted to offer some perspective on this Corona virus thing:
So most of my workplace has shifted to telework. I personally have never been much of a fan of complete telework myself. So I resist a little bit. I worked onsite the other day, and there weren't many people at work. Long story short, I get an email today saying that someone from another department (let's call them person B) attended a conference. Someone at the conference (let's call them Person A) is being tested for Corona, but results are not expected until next week. I found out today that I was in the same room as Person B on Wednesday.
Now, I'm not saying person B has it or that I have it, but I wanted to offer a perspective on what is meant by social distancing from a practical sense.
If I do have it, the only way I could have prevented catching is to stay home and designate specific humans with whom I would have contact. Then, each of those humans would also have to have a pact with the number of humans regarding whom they would contact. The idea would be that we somehow get to a point where our group only contacts humans within our group and nobody else.

So to update this story, it turns out that person A has it. I haven't heard anything about person B. Sigh such is life. Stay safe y'all!
