Keep Calm and Steem On
It has been a very bad or shall we say disastrous month for steem and cryptos in general. November has been always good for the cryptos in the past but that trend was broken, mainly by the uncertainty over the regularization of crypto market combined with bitcoin cash hardfork.
People selling off like there is no tomorrow and these are who bought btc when it was $1000, still taking significant profits.
Media has been very harsh on crypto market making terrible headlines like 'crypto is dead' and this would have scared some people as well.
Coming to steemit platform, the posts have died down and the general mood of the steemians is low as described by @acidyo as steem graveyard syndrome. One of the steemians has written in his/ her post that if we concentrate on steempower and power up, this should not affect us at all as we get paid the same steem amount regardless.
Ofcourse, it is devastating and tough time for people who are full time steemians and are powering down as it might affect their daily lives. my sympathies. For others it wont matter much as the value of steem is bound to go up as it has true potential and use cases in my opinion.
when it comes to media, bitcoin was dead at least over 10 times in the last 8 years but it keeps coming back.
So please sit tight and steem on.
Same here I think ... this new system is too big and to good to disappear.
And seeing how the prices are dropped, I believe that if big whales start bought back all, the prices will make a sudden jump . I not know how far but it will be reasonably large jump.
I'm more interested in what will happen if the dollar starts to drop air out ... and all this big bubble explodes. Where all this rest run ... they all not get Gold or silver ... so I think lot them must come here so they can fast move they values. Because when Dollar $ bubble explodes, I'm sure nobody will trust any currencies then..No Euros.. no Yen... No Australian dollar..and more.
