1. The largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, coinbase, is now listed alongside notable companies like Google and Facebook in the new introductory video for the fifth season of the popular HBO TV show Silicon Valley.
2. Deutsche Börse Group, a German marketplace for securities trading, will release a Blockchain-based platform for securities lending in collaboration with HQLAx using R3’s Corda Blockchain platform, the company announced in a press release today.
3. VEN is down more than 16% in the past week, following the X Nodes snapshot on March 20. The VEN price has also easily slid below $3 in the past months, and with the generally negative mood of the market prevailing, VEN may see further slides.
4. The biggest boost for Siacoin may come from a listing on Binance, which has helped make relatively low-priced tokens more active.
5. During Snowden’s recent interview at Blockstack Berlin, he outlined the problems associated with Bitcoin. While it is still solid technology, it is not exactly the solution most people should be looking for. For those enthusiasts looking for privacy, anonymity, or both, Snowden thinks they may be better off with a few altcoins. It was a somewhat surprising comment, albeit one that does make a lot of sense.
