One Picture And One Story Week #31
Assalam o Alaikum everyone! I hope you will be well and good by the grace of Almighty Allah who is the most merciful and gracious to everyone.
Today I am here to participate in a contest organized by @suboohi about 1 picture 1 story. If you haven't joined it yet and you wanted to join it then join and share your favourite story here.
There was a shopping funfair in my university. There were different types of stalls in the funfair. Many students participated in that event. The gursos as well as the boys participated in that event with great excitement and joy.
I was also in the university that day to attend my classes. And as soon as I got free from the class I decided to come back to home. But I saw a big tent in the park. When I read about that if was a big funfair in which the students participated greatly. I decided to visit it with my friend. Finally we entered the big hall. The hall was full of stalls. Everyone was enjoying them. They were buying things from the stalls. I visited all the stalls one by one.
Pakistan is an agricultural land. And there was an agricultural stall as well. The student did a great job to share information about the different types of potatoes which are found in the local area and in it's surroundings. He also presented famous potato types from the different places of Pakistan. If I say that the potatoes are widely used in the vegetables then it will not be wrong. Many things that we eat in a daily basis are related to the potatoes. We eat potato fritters, samosa, finger chips and much more fried items. Along with these things we also use potatoes in the curry. Yesterday I ate potato bread it was really very delicious and amazing.
I took interest in the different types of potatoes. There were Kashmir, Sahiwal Red, Sahiwal White, PRI-Red, Ijaz-22, Sadaf, Punjab, Sialkot Red, Ruby, Ravi, NPE 29 Peri and more. They had attached the sign board with the related type of potatoes. And the characteristics of the potatoes were mentioned in the outlet. I did not even know these types of potatoes which I came to know because of that event.
Everything was neat and clean in the whole tent. The potatoes were also finely neat and clean. They were looking very attractive. And the person who was handling this potato stall was working on the research of the potatoes. They were working under the government rules and regulations. They had gotten approval of many new types of potatoes from the government of Punjab. And the new types of potatoes were good in giving high yield. At the potatoes stall there were some outlets related to the potatoes.
So after seeing the potato stall and getting a lot of information about them Iived ahead. I saw another beautiful stall where the students were selling the rose flowers and the beautiful rose garlands. They also had rose coiffure which is known as Mang Patti or Matha Patti in Urdu. Everything was lovely. And my visit to that funfair was also good. I enjoyed everything.
Funfairs are always amazing we should join such funfairs and exhibitions. These give a lot of knowledge and enjoyment.
