Hartbeespoort dam - Part 3 - Cableway: Amazing views from the top of the mountain

This is a continuation from Hartbeespoort dam - Part 2 - Cableway: To the top of the mountain.

At this stage I had reached the top of the mountain which I must say the view was spectacular. At the top of the mountain I could see almost whole dam below. At the top of the mountain there were microwave antennas which are used as repeater stations for telecommunication and also have better line of sight from high up.




I took this pictures and was really intrigued by the mountain range and how vast they can actually stretch.

The restaurant

The restaurant is situated at the top of the mountain and just besides the landing spot for the carriages arriving and departing. There is actually another restaurant but its covered so most of the people preferred the one outside with a bar and amazing views.

Time for food and beer.

After taking a walk around the mountain, well had to take rest and have a beer and food while looking down our Hartbeespoort dam. Well the menu serves a variety of meals and also the bar caters for a variety of beverages to keep you up there for hours.
