I mainly focused on saving water to combat water scarcity and water leakages. My blog on Hackathons with rapid innovative ideas and designs are solving Africa’s problems, which includes my full presentation to the solution.
Kiara Nirghin developed a low-cost super-absorbent polymer using oranges and avocado peels in order combat drought. Her intelligent solution was enter into the Google science fair which took the grand prize of $50 000 schoolarship.
According to Google science fair “it's a global online science and technology competition open to individuals and teams from ages 13 to 18. The details of the 2016 competition will be announced soon, but start thinking of an idea now.”
