I have a crypto friend that asked why I think Steem is so great. He pointed out that we're a "shyte coin". I like to demonstrate some of Steem's strength over other cryptos. Here's one:
Move crypto from account A to B
Move crypto back from account B to A.
Repeat 1 million times.
Depending on how much crypto you started with, you will end up with significantly less crypto (having paid fees 1 million times).
Steem, you will have the same amount at the end. Zero fees.
Also, you can complete the transactions in just a couple of days. Other cryptos are slow! Bitcoin will require weeks!

I have tried trading bitcoin at the height of the last bull run.(2017) It was virtually impossible to trade anything without paying a huge fee of $100's to get the trade done.
Bitcoin is the real shit coin as far as transaction speed is concerned. Litecoin is better but still costly.
I've also had Bitcoins stolen from exchanges and from @Wirex via a man in the middle attack (allegedly)on my account with no refunds from Wirex or VISA. What a shit show!
Wirex have an account on steem as well which is about as helpful as a fart in a spacesuit. It's a crap card and I would warn people about using their crap services. Don't leave any crypto on Wirex. There is a lot more I could share but Wirex is under a police and FCA investigation atm. Anyone who is shilling for them is going to get dragged into it.
On steem. We own our keys. We do our own trades with no middle men and no need to trust 3rd parties.
Steem is the hands down winner on every count. It's just that people don't see it's potential?

No they have to roll out EOS 1.8 or whatever it is called on Sept 23. I think Voice may be going by years end. To me it is like a slow moving hurricane off shore. We know it is coming, but not sure exactly when.
Have you signed up for voice beta test phase?

No crypto is perfect. Steem has done technical benefits and a good community. The freedom means bad actors can operate here too, but hf21 opens some possibilities to deal with them. It depends on what users are willing to do. Time will tell
I hear you buddy but it is sometimes very difficult to tell who the bad actors are?
We do know of those that blatantly shitpost 10 times a day and upvote themselves and couldn't give two hoots about the community.
Then there are those 'others' that hide behind a raft of 'community' groups and 'ethical bots' and suchlike who pay to join these groups and then get a stream of upvotes from these so called 'community groups'.
Vote buying is vote buying no matter how you cut it or try to hide it? Some people choose not to be so sneaky? Or just don't give a rats arse about it.
I was thinking about a meet up in Cambridge on the second weekend of September. What do you think?
There are plenty of obvious offenders to deal with. It looks like some trending posts have already collected lots of downvotes. That page is being cleaned up.
