Saturday Morning in My Backyard

My favorite day of the week is Saturday. If I am able to get up on my own, take the dogs out, grab something for the outdoor "pets" and my camera and just walk around. Sometimes, like this morning before I have even had coffee.

Photography has always been a love.
But the things I have captured in my own backyard help to keep me grounded in an otherwise crazy world at large.

My dear friend gave me this plant and said it was called a princess plant, because he adores my little pit bull girly girl and calls her "The Princess".

This has to be one of the most photogenic plants I have ever had

An indulgence in biscuits and gravy last weekend, led to a great Saturday breakfast for the local wildlife. (I'm sure my neighbors hate me - and I am pretty sure I don't care)
