What's happening: Dancing to a different beat - #2
A new day and another opportunity, another chance to continue to create you or to continue working on your goals. Another opportunity to be you. Let’s focus on how we start our day. Remembering that past experiences are indeed the past – we are going to shake them off as much as we can and be re-defned today – it is our choice.
We have heard it all before but let’s take action to create real change – maybe even long lasting change a little at a time.
Bearing in mind, that we are responsible for our own mood - here are these 5 tips that might be good to start one's day:
The post and list are short and sweet - why? a long list creates additional stress for the morning. If 5. items are too many - just simply start with one – there is no rush - this is not a competition – this is about only you.
Tips
Let’s be loving to ourselves – it start here – in the morning.

Hmmmm!!!!Change begins with a new day..Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean....We all have a chance to make things right..develop ourselves and practice this changes in our day to day life....Thank you for this train of thought.....Good to see you today..P.S Had to strain my eyes to read the tips...appearing a lil bit faint.
I am sorry the tips appear faint but glad ypu could read them. Yes - it is nice to realize that we can change our habits and make our lives somewhat easier. Thanks for dropping by.
Hey dear, you just gave great tips that would be really cool to help people start their day.
An early preparation which takes place at night would help during the day. That was the reasob why my parents were always forcing me to go to bed on time during school days.
Gratitude is one of the keys to receiving more!
Making a very big list on what one wants to achieve in a day can discourage one at the end of the day. Be practical!
Leave the past where it is supposed to be. Face the present.
Those were some of the things I learnt. Nice one. I would be expecting more of this!!!
@ogine Your parents were very wise with there guidance. I will continue to give tips from time to time when inspired.
This post is really great. I love your title. I have noticed that most people around me are sad, and that is because they keep thinking about their bad pasts, their poverty and other negative aspects of their lives.
They fail to realise that we only live once!
I do believe that if we all change change the way we reason by avoiding negative thoughts (I know it might not be easy, but with much effort and consciousness, it is still achievable) we would be able to dance to a new beat.
The five tips you gave are superb. I love what you said in your conclusion about short posts. I really prefer them to long ones.
Long ones might get boring towards the middle, but shorter ones that are concise are indeed more attractive!
Thank u @chiknows The title is borrow from the prior post - as it shares postive tips that asisit with good on in life in a different and perhap new way - also feeling empowered.
By teh way - I make long post sometimes but this post was best to keep shorter
Nice. Most of us take our past into each new day and we wonder why our lives don't seem to progress. When you live in the past, you get past results. Those are some nice tips worth noting. Thanks
@resuscitate Absolutely - living in the past creates more of the same. If we remain in the now Tip # 5 - it prevents thoughts of the past and also helps us to deal with whatever come in better way as we will not react based on past emotion but handle the situation with new insight.
That's very true. The past should only be part of our guide in future decision making, it should not be the guide or control our future

The tips should have been bigger now, you can't make such smaller. That's by the way.
I think am keeping to most of this tips already, though not well written down but I keep it in mind, everytime I want to sleep I already have in mind what I will do the next day. The Steemit Post I'll made, contest and all that, it keeps me going at all time and organize.
But one thing you didn't input in there is the case of unforeseen circumstances
It is nice that you are organsed and creating your own mental list. This list is short in order to minimize stress. Unforeseen circumstances is understood and could nicely fit into Tip #4 - a habit that does not serve you - hence one to eliminate or Tip #5 - if staying in the present - when sometime postiive or negative happen we accept it as it. What do you think?
I agree with you to a point though.
You could also disagree- that is fine too 😀
