Making clothes and beautiful outfits are based on pattern sketching and garment construction.
This sketch can be carried out on cardboard papers, cheap brown papers or as convenient,
Here is one am constructing for a jacket I intend to design for myself.
I used my body measurement to draw an exclusive free hand pattern on a brown paper to derive a sketch that will give me the pattern for the jacket.
Afterwords I placed the pattern on fabrics and cut each pieces out
I love purple color and decided to get this purple designed fabrics from the market for my jacket.
sketching the front pattern was a little more tasking, I have to create a space for the label and attached collar.

Designing a jacket is a whole lot of work, that I just knew after starting mine.
