Market Update: BTC Stable, BCH Up, STEEM is Surging!
Hi everyone!
Here's a market update on Steem :)
Steem is Rising!
Just yesterday, Steem was selling at prices less than a dollar, and now steem is back up and surging at more than $1.45 (increase of over 35%)!
An amazing surge for Steem :)
Steem reached a high of $1.55 in the past day, and it seems this is due to lots of buys on exchanges such as Bittrex. I encourage you not to sell your Steem, however, if you believe in the Steem platform, as I think that Steem has even more potential to go :)
Keep doing great, Steem!
BCH Rose Up
BCH also faced a similar surge, and rose from $300 three days ago to about $720 right now (with a high of over $900 during this increase).
This is partly due to a push from South Korean investors buying it using Korean fiat, and also due to increased miner support due to higher profitability/lower difficulty.
BTC is Stable
Bitcoin (BTC)'s behavior is quite stable right now, so I don't see a price correction very soon. BTC is known for being more stable/liquid than other cryptocurrencies, and it seems like it's living up to the name.
Remember that SegWit is activating, and that this might start a reaction in the price. Otherwise, I'm predicting more stability and a possible continuation of the growth that we've been seeing.
Other Cryptos and Altcoins
Ethereum, as always, has been stabilizing around the $300 mark for the past week or so. Dash, however, went through a large price increase this week, from around $220 to higher than $305, and is currently trading at around $295. SBD (Steem Dollars), as always, is pretty volatile in short-term lengths, and has been trading at above a dollar to less than 75¢ in the past 24 hours.

My advice to Steemians is to choose "Power Up 100%" on their posts rather than 50/50 when the Steem Dollar (SBD) price is fluctuating less than $1. Hopefully SBD bounces back higher and Steem continues this remarkable growth :)
