Joel 2:28-29 ESV.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.
29 Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit.

1Corinthian 12:1-10 ESV.

1 Now these are the men who came to David at Ziklag, while he could not move about freely because of Saul the son of Kish. And they were among the mighty men who helped him in war.
2 They were bowmen and could shoot arrows and sling stones with either the right or the left hand; they were Benjaminites, Saul's kinsmen.
3 The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, both sons of Shemaah of Gibeah; also Jeziel and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; Beracah, Jehu of Anathoth,
4 Ishmaiah of Gibeon, a mighty man among the thirty and a leader over the thirty; Jeremiah, Jahaziel, Johanan, Jozabad of Gederah,
5 Eluzai, Jerimoth, Bealiah, Shemariah, Shephatiah the Haruphite;
6 Elkanah, Isshiah, Azarel, Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korahites;
7 And Joelah and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
8 From the Gadites there went over to David at the stronghold in the wilderness mighty and experienced warriors, expert with shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions and who were swift as gazelles upon the mountains:
9 Ezer the chief, Obadiah second, Eliab third,
10 Mishmannah fourth, Jeremiah fifth,

Ephesians 4:7-16 ESV.

7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift.
8 Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.”
9 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth?
10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,
12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,
16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

After hearing of Christ's death and subsequent departure, the disciple were filled with grief and confusion. The night before His crucifixion, the Lord strengthened them by speaking of the coming of another comforter who will abide with them forever(john 14:16-17). The Spirit was already dwelling with them and when Jesus is glorified, He shall be in them. The Holy Spirit was introduced in Gen1:2 as "As the Spirit of God hovering or brooding over the face of the waters". However, we find Him at rest in Jesus (matt 3:16) the Apostle in Acts 2:1-4, and in us(1cor. 6:19)

Who is the is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the part of the triun Godhead . He is person and not a force, fire, smoke or cloud. Through some of these natural phenomena could uhseruhserin the move of the holy Spirit. For example in Acts 2:1-4 where the Holy spirit officially visited the earth after Jesus departure, His presence was ushered in with sound as of a rushing might wind" but He's not the sound or wind. He also appeared unto them "Like as of fire" but not the fire Himself. He's a person given as a gift to the church to azure that continued ministry of the resurrected Christ again full expression on death.

In John 16:5-16, Act 1:8 Jesus spoke of His person and purpose. is presence in the life of a believer releases spiritual gifts( 1 Cor.12:4)
