Nothing change's then..

I started work again and since I hosted a couchsurfer who was an activist against packaging I have also become more active in helping out reducing waste packaging.

I just went to get a tea, and took a china cup to use which I have done since a while to prevent disposable cups being used so often.

The woman who by the way is a great person, still asked me if I would prefer a takeaway cup instead, but I am working just 20m away from the cafe and said that its best if I use this china cup to save wasting desposable ones.

The woman said "Well you know its made from paper so its not that bad!"..

She seemed to miss the point that it would still only be wasted and the more cups I brought would add more used cups..

We are still far from realizing the scale of how wasteful we are on a daily basis! Start reusing takeaway cups or take your own with you!
