Plastic Pollution | Landscape/Seascape Photography/Art Contest
Most often when we are asked to share landscape/seascape photography and art, we are always quick to bring out the beauty of nature by sharing pictures of the beautiful places around our community. We almost never think about the ugly landscape. If we do, then we will definitely think about how we are contributing to degrading the landscape and begin to take actions to bring out the beauty of the landscape.
This picture was taken by me along the banks of River Mezam, where we witnessed an entire stream channel that is completely buried with plastic bottles. A river flows beneath these plastic bottles and the destination of these plastic bottles is the sea/ocean.
In my landscape photography, i am calling on Steemians accross the globe to reduce their plastic footprints, raise their voices against plastic pollution and take action to fight plastic pollution because plastics degrade the landscape and seascape.
