Review of the film "Gifted" (2017)
Greetings, dear readers!
The world premiere of the new feature film "Gifted", shot by American filmmakers in the genre of drama, took place on April 7, 2017, while it became available to Russian viewers on June 1, 2017.
I watched it over Internet online. Sound and image quality was excellent.
What is told to the audience in story of this drama?
It is about an unusual seven-year-old girl named Mary, who from age of one at educates uncle Frank. Once he worked as a Professor at one of most prestigious universities in the world, but for sake of his beloved niece, he left his career and moved to live with her on the coast, where he began to repair the boat, getting it for the maintenance of his small family, which also included a one-eyed red handsome cat named Fred.
The girl was extremely talented in mathematics. This was inherited by her with genes of mother, who committed suicide when the baby was barely a year old.
All these years, Frank himself was engaged in teaching Mary, but now he decided that it was time for her to go to the most ordinary school, in order to make friends and become happy unlike his mother.
Naturally, the child, who is able to multiply two -, three-digit numbers among themselves, and then also to extract the square root from the result, was bored in the classroom, where kids were taught to add Prime numbers.
Plus, she had problems communicating as well as being disciplined. In the end, Frank began to persuade to give the girl in a specialized school, when he refused, in the course went to the heavy artillery in the form of powerful and tough grandmother Evelyn, who wanted to do the tough to educate granddaughter and make her a genius of mathematical world.
Case went to court, which resolved issue of child custody.
How it all ended, you will know after you watch this movie. He's worth it.
Film stars Chris Evans, McKenna grace, Lindsay Duncan, Jenny slate, Octavia Spencer, Michael Kendall Kaplan, John M. Jackson, Glenn Plummer, John Finn, Elizabeth marvel, and other actors, which is perfectly coped with their roles.
Film was emotionally intense, full of drama and at same time warm and touching.
It raised such burning topics as relationships in family, rights of the child, even if he is extremely talented, as well as honesty, generosity, love for others, including animals.
This film can be recommended for family viewing. There is no, so, of course, there is one a small scene, that, perhaps, and not worth look children, but, in principle, there all quite propriety.
