What is Actifit? Their idea is to encourage people into exercising and reward them for that! All you gotta do is to download their app and try it out. Cool and simple.

In fact, Actifit is built as one of the first Smart Media Tokens on top of the Steem blockchain, with beta Android and iOS mobile apps already available on playstore and app store; the app Actifit tracks and rewards your activity with Actifit (AFIT) tokens, but also STEEM rewards via upvotes on your Steem posts.

The number one reason for me to work as a translator on this project is because I believe in its idea and I want it to be spreaded to as many people as possible. Also, I'm one of the first Steem users who started using Actifit, as a cyclist, when it was first released - a great project with a really beneficial idea.

1. Translation Overview

This first report on the Actifit project is mainly focused on the Android app version and features strings related to the app's user interface, such as menus and texts.

Overall I consider it a fluid project to work on when it comes to string difficulty. Apart from some special terms related to blockchain and technology, that required more care to transcript from English to Portuguese, everything worked out perfectly. On top of that, the team is very active and ready to answear any questions the translator may have, making it easier to ensure the translation turns out as perfect as possible.

This translation was made from English to Portuguese.

For the past two years, I worked as a basic to intermediate level English teacher at a local school, expanding greatly my knowledge of the English and Portuguese grammar/vocabulary. Now I'm a full time content creator using English as my main language.

I volunteered to translate two different projects for the brazilian community, which served as a sample for my application on the Da-Vinci/Utopian Portuguese Translation Team, where I'm currently working.
