A Day In New York City - Fri
To send our daughter Diane back to school in Atlanta, we drove her to New York City Fri. afternoon, met our son Robert there, and the whole family spent a quality night in New York City. Had a crave-soothing authentic Shanghainese dinner in Chinatown. Stayed the night at the downtown Marriott, which is right at the financial district center of NYC along the Hudson river, near the new under-rebuild World Trade center, as well as Wall Street. On Sat. morning, we walked along the Hudson River, enjoyed the crisp clear and fresh Autumn-like morning, had a good brunch at a decent restaurant our son brought us to, then Mom and Dad took bus headed back Boston to catch a wonderful party at a dear friend's magnificent house, while Son and Daughter continued the long 1200mi driving journey toward Atlanta, GA. It was certainly a great family event, everyone enjoyed dearly!
