Mithali Raj is the current captain of Indian women cricket team. She is the first woman to score the double century in Test cricket. In June 2018, Mithali Raj is India's first female cricket player to score 2,000 or more runs in T20 International cricket.

Mitali Raj was born on December 3/1982, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. She has also received traction in 'Bharatanatyam' dance and has given several stage shows. Due to cricket, she used to stay away from his Bharatnatyam dance classes for a long time. Then the dance teacher advised him to choose one of cricket and dance. Her mother Leela Raj was an official. She played the first test match against England in Lucknow in 2001-2002. When Mithali joined the international test match for the first time, she was out on a duck (Zero) without any runs. But she went ahead with her hard work in her career and set a record by scoring 214 runs in international women's cricket till date. She made history in 2002 against England. This is the highest run record of women cricket. After a gap of 4 years, they again visited England in July 2006 under the leadership of Mithali Raj.
