N.I. : Indian Rat snake, Wood Snake (Java), snake coros, vegetable snake
a. Characteristic features :

  • Upper (dorsal) body is brown or greenish brown
  • Rear yellow body scales with black stripes around each scales.
  • The lower (ventral) body is yellow.
  • Spherical eyes, large and black.
  • In the young there are lines on the upper body (dorsal).
  • Length 300 mm - 1700 mm
    b. Habitat: The bushes, sometimes basking in the trees
    c. Type of teeth: Aghlypa
    e. Activity: Diurnal
    f. Food: Rats, frogs, frogs and birds
    h. Population: Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan
