In this post I want to explain a little about what the purpose of doing a Power Up on your Steemit account is. After I read from some of the Senior Steemian posts, it turns out that Power Up is very necessary or we must do it so that we can become successful Steemian in the future. Because the biggest opportunity to be successful in working on Steemit is by continuing to Power Up on our Steemit account.

So without Power Up we will not be able to become a successful Steemian in the future. I also just found out now about that Power Up is very much needed in working on Steemit. So here I will explain why I have to do a Power Up according to my own knowledge so that all Steemian friends don't hesitate to do a Power Up.

What is the purpose of doing a Power Up?

The first goal to do a Power Up is so that our Steemit account has a lot of Steem Power so that we can be successful in working on Steemit. By delegating the Steem Power that we have to any Community on Steemit, because by delegation, we will get prizes from the results of the delegation that we do. The bigger the delegation we do, the bigger the prize we will get. Then the greater the Steem Power we have, the greater the chance of success we will get.

Because I have also seen, if there is no Steem Power, it will definitely not be successful in working on Steemit. Because even the curators will not give Vote if we never do Power Up from the results of the posts that we publish. Then the Communities don't pay much attention to us if they don't want to support their Community by doing the Steem Power Delegation that we have. Because according to them we are only selfish and do not want to support the growth of the Community. Then they will not want to support our posts.

How to do Power Up for newcomers?

Doing Power Up is indeed very difficult for us to do especially for newcomers who do not have any assets in a Steemit account. But if you have money by buying Steem, it might be easy to do, but like me, who doesn't have money, you have to wait for the Vote from the post that I published so that you can do Power Up. So the first thing you have to do is publish useful posts and follow all the rules that have been set by the Community so you can get Votes so you can Power Up.

Then every result you get from the post, try never to sell all Steem, at least do 50% Power Up and 50% for other purposes. But if you might be able to get a big prize, then do a big Power Up so you can quickly become a successful Steemian. Then you can also do a Power Up of 70% of the post results that you get, especially for you newcomers. Because without Power Up, I don't think I will ever be able to become a successful Steemian.
