Acehnese Shoulders Should Save Pope Mirror Local Wisdom

Aceh - Aceh Government appreciates community cohesion in helping save stranded whales. Residents of Rencong Land shoulder-to-shoulder down into the sea so that the mammal can survive.
Head of Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of Aceh Government Mulyadi Nurdin mention the cohesiveness of the community as a mirror of local wisdom that must be maintained. This needs to be maintained to protect ecosystems and the environment, especially in maintaining protected animal habitats.

Despite several attempts to rescue some of the whales, the community heroism with the volunteers to help deserves much appreciation.
Ten whales were stranded on Ujong Kareung Beach, Aceh Besar, on Monday (13/11). Six tails were saved, while four others died. Two marine mammals are suspected of being sick and injured.
