Happy International Women's Day

Right On Friday, March 09, 2019 is an International Women's Day celebration

In Aceh many female figures are still remembered today as the heroes of women against the Dutch colonialism:

1. Cut Nyak Dien

2. Cut Meutia

3. Admira Keumala Hayati(Commander of the Naval War of the Sultanate of Aceh) who expelled the Dutch and Portuguese invaders.

There are many sources you can read about biographies and heroes to these three women, and this can be a reference for anyone who wants to talk about gender equality. Before the popular gender talked about the world community, it turns out Aceh already practiced first.

On this international women's day I want to commemorate the services of these three great women, because thanks to them this nation is known and inspires many women around the world. May their souls rest in nature there. Amen
