However, we must pay attention to several things that we need to follow so that watering the plants is more effective and grows in perfect condition. Here are some good and easy ways to water and do.

*** Check Soil Condition ***

Before we water the plants, first pay attention and take a little soil and hold the soil to find out the level of humidity. If the surface of the soil looks dry, we check some of the depth of the soil that does not contain water or is dry if necessary use a measuring tool to find out how many centimeters of dry depth if the soil is really dry, it's time to water more, after watering wait for a day so that the water content is not much anymore.

*** Water the Root Area ***

Pour water on the surface of the soil until all the roots of the plant are really wet. The roots are probably as wide as the plant and a little deep.

Water in the Morning

The best time to water plants is in the morning. When the soil starts to get wet, the leaves of the plant have time all day to get soft due to the heat, in the afternoon the plants start to bloom again. If we water properly, the plants do not get too hot when the sun is hot.

Plant diseases will grow more easily if the leaves are dry. If we can't water in the morning, the second best time is in the afternoon, avoid watering during the day, usually plants can't stand hot conditions when given water.

Water Slowly

If the surface of the soil is dry, water can pool or flow and not be absorbed. To prevent this from happening, start watering the plants slowly and gradually until the soil is really wet and the absorption is perfect. After the top few centimeters of the soil are damp, the water will be more easily absorbed.

Don't Overwater

For most plants, it is best to let the surface of the soil dry out a little between waterings. This is especially important for plants in pots. It is better to water in small amounts because the water reservoir does not spread and wander.

Don't Wait for Plants to Dry

Plants sometimes look wilted to save water during the hot day. However, the plants will be fresh again when the afternoon or evening arrives.

If we let the soil become too dry, the fine hair-like protrusions at the end of the roots can be damaged. When the plant has to regrow root hairs, the energy stored that should not be used for flower and fruit production will be drained. Those are some ways to water plants properly.

If there is something wrong about the correct watering procedure, please let me know in the comments pool. Hopefully all this is useful.
