Pale Orb Weaver spider
Orb weaver spiders are found all over the world, and they are noted for their ability to create webs. They are available in about 4,000 different variations. The cephalothorax and the abdomen are two different body regions that are connected by the rib cage. They have eight legs, which are all attached to the cephalothorax via a ligament.
The venom glands of orb weaver spiders produce a toxin that causes their prey to become paralysed. The length of their bodies ranges between three and thirty millimetres. When it comes to colour, nocturnal orb weavers are often brown or black in tone, whereas diurnal orb weavers are brightly coloured, usually a combination of black and orange or black and yellow. Generally speaking, female orb-weaver spiders are greater in size than male orb-weaver spiders.
