FREESTYLE CONTEST (Eng-Ita)

On the second day of Jenuary , i have partecipated to an Hip Hop Freestyle Contest , the event was organized by Ginko , a young boy with the passion for the Graphic and the Hip Hop,Red fox that as participants have been singing for a few years ,and tries to be able to emerge, like us all from a city that does nothing, but leave the young singer only the hope of being able to escape from a social condition now tto small for the ambitions of us all.

Il 2 Gennaio ho partecipato ad un contest Hip Hop di Freestyle , la serata era organizzata da Ginko un ragazzo con la passione per la grafica e per l'HipHop e presentata da Volperossa un giovane tarantino che come i partecipanti canta oramai da un po di anni e cerca di riuscire ad emergere come noi tutti da una città che non fà altro che lasciare ai ragazzi solo la speranza di riuscire ad evadere da una condizione sociale ormai stretta per le ambizioni di noi tutti.

I started the event with my Hip Hop DJ set whereby I did dance all the people who came to support us, I usually have a lot of eyes on the dancefloor to understand how to move those in front of me, like a sort of game, like when you have success with your musical intuition and you see the smiles on the face of the people who leave you satisfied with the work done.
At the end of my Dj set we started the contest, the challengers chosen by lot have 60 seconds or 2 minutes (depending on the occasions) to be able to amaze and make the mass enthusiastic.
Among the young talented participants only two were the finalists, Antonio Lofino (Folofolo) and Francesco Stasi (Abyss) who clashed in the final until the last fault that won FollowFollow.

Ho iniziato la serata con il mio Dj set Hip Hop con cui ho fatto ballare la gente che è venuta a sostenerci, in genere ho molto gli occhi sulla pista per capire come far muovere chi ho di fronte, come una sorte di gioco, come quando hai successo con una tua intuizione musicale e vedi i sorrisi sul volto della gente che ti lascia soddisfatto del lavoro fatto.
Alla fine del mio Dj set abbiamo iniziato il contest , gli sfidanti estratti a sorte hanno 60 secondi o 2 minuti (dipende dalle occasioni) riuscire a stupire e far infuocare la massa che gli incita.
Fra i giovani talentuosi partecipanti solo due sono stati i finalti , Antonio Lofino (Folofolo) e Francesco Stasi (Abisso) che si sono scontrati nella finale fino all'ultimo colpe che ha vinto FollowFollow.

My point of view is that Taranto is creating a huge movement of guys who want to break through with their passion and their ideas, keeping the hunger that their city is pulling out.
I personally have a bitter point of view on what I consider my city of birth, but not of life.
I have always hated it but not because it is crumbling or whatever, simply we citizens are forced to focus on our abilities, on which we must obviously invest with monstrous sacrifices to be able to have a hope of a peaceful life compared to staying here to take dust until you find a job.
Maybe singing and producing does not make us think of everything that this city is eating slowly from our life.
Our passion still gives smiles in the faces of young talented guys who are hungry for life.

Il mio punto di vista è che da Taranto si sta creando un movimento grandissimo di ragazzi che vogliono sfondare con la loro passione e con le loro idee , mantenendo la fame che la propria città gli sta tirando fuori.
Io personalmente ho un punto di vista amaro su quella che considero la mia città di Nascita ,ma non di vita.
L'ho sempre odiata ma non perchè sia fatiscente o che altro , semplicemente noi cittadini siamo costretti a puntare sulle nostre capacità , sulla quale dobbiamo investire ovviamente con sacrifici mostruosi per riuscire ad avere una speranza di una vita tranquilla rispetto al restar qui a prendere polvere finchè non trovi un lavoro.
Magari cantare e produrre non ci fa pensare a tutto ciò che questa città sta mangiando pian piano dalla nostra vita .
La nostra passione regala ancora sorrisi nei volti di giovani talentuosi ragazzi che hanno fame di vita.
