Sell Physical Gold and Silver for CryptoCurrency?

That is the thought that has been weighing on me this weekend. To sell physical metals in order to acquire more Bitcoin, LiteCoin, EOS etc etc.

I have been holding or as we say "HODL" a good position of Gold and Silver since the end of 2015.

What return have I made on the metals investment? Nothing. In fact I'm down. Just imagine if I would have invested that in Bitcoin and LiteCoin.

So I ask the Steemit community, what what YOU DO?

Please note I am aware of the bias seeing how this is a blockchain community.
