Blockchain Technology finally endorsed in Uganda....more hope for legalisation of crypto transactions arises!!!
For a long time, the concept of Blockchain Technology and it's literature have been uncommon, ambiguous to some parts of Uganda. It was not discussed often and so it only remained known to a few people. Being that many people receive information by TV, it was hard to drag people into reading articles that explained the blockchain literature.
It was in late April, that the topic "blockchain" was a stem of discussion and amounted to the president endorsing blockchain Technology which will be adopted in Uganda. 
This was followed by quick arrangements to have a 2 day workshop to discuss the details of this Technology. Mr. Zhao Changpeng will be at this function to share in more of how the technology can be used.
At the time this news is coming in, Uganda has for long time had a number of challenges that have put the economy and other systems at stake. There is a lot of dependency, massive unemployment, forgery of academic documents, land titles, pirating of copyright among others.
The Technology is reportedly said to be of much help in authenticating university degrees, land titles, support sharing of digital information without pirating it, solve unemployment thereby providing employment opportunities to the youths.
what this means to Uganda
The adoption of blockchain Technology could be an open door to embrace cryptos as legal forms of payment. As many of you know that the state of cryptos in Uganda I still neutral but with blockchain, we can have cryptos legalised.
With the high rate of unemployment, blockchain offers a variety of opportunities over the internet, which could be excited by the youths to cut down on the rate of unemployment and dependency. Youths will have access to capital from cryptos that will change many lives
.
Authentication Of Legal documents
Aunthentication of all transcripts and degrees will reduce risk of having quack proffesionals at the expense of those who genuinely qualify. Employment will be for those who are qualified , to held reduce on the graduate unemployed graduate population in Uganda.
Documents that declare ownership of property here in Uganda are printed just like examination papers, without proper authentication. This has led to displacement of many people who have fallen victim of forgery, by those who have resources to bribe the officials responsible for the issuing of these documents. Those who can't influence can only afford to watch and remain victim.

Generally blockchain will help us in many ways but most importantly if we have cryptos legalised, then this will be financial freedom for us. And the steemit community will grow more big.
