Steemit can be a source of capital to University Students in Uganda who want to start their own business ventures!!!
I have thought about this for a while, seeing and reading about hundreds and thousands of Students graduating from high ranked and low ranked Universities in Uganda. My concern is about the possibility of this swam getting placements for employment....Where will the jobs come from and how many will be employed?? To a sad note, the job market in Uganda has also been tainted with sectarianism and nepotism....huh how about the minorities with beautiful developmental ideas?..They are left out of course.
Unlike other countries, University education in Uganda is expensive in regard to economic standards of the population. Many people are peasants and depend on less than they offer for University education to their children. They toil and work hard to raise a one time big sum of money about $5,000 to push their child through school. Those who do not have a clear way of getting this money, they go to the banks and get loans with very high rates and payment can be twice the loan amount. This is really pressing to the locals who want to seek value in education.
At this point, parents have a lot of expectations from their children who have freshly graduated from University. Unfortunately, most Universities in Uganda do not have a saving plan for students. The University keeps receiving tuition from students throughout the duration of study until they graduate. Money is forever to the university accounts and not to students savings accounts!!!. Therefore Universities in Uganda are producing injured graduates, very ambitious to recover the huge sums of money they invest in their University education within the shortest time, therefore seeking for employment in big offices because of the heavy load of need.
Many graduates still float on the job market year in and year out. Most employers are fearful of employing people then take them through training, they keep asking for work experience. Funny enough, most Universities are producing students who have never been for industrial training. The practical skill need is not satisfied to the expected by most of these universities, yet the job market is looking for people who know what to do not those who can state what they have studied.
Here is a life changing opportunity...
Steemit is looking for creative not learned people, without work experience or internship reports and faculty recommendations , who can develop and curate quality content. You don't need a CV or resume for this opportunity. All you need is an active email address to help you get an account on steemit. While here there is no concern of observation of reporting order, but of course maintain good practices and no plagiarism. Many students always have a lot of desires while still at school and always hunt for opportunities to help them put these dreams and plans. Unfortunately, they do not have the best connections to sponsors, donors or grants. They therefore can't have their plans implemented because of limited access to (start-up capital) funds, because the government can do less to help and worst is they do not have any savings by themselves!!!
