Hello friends

My today started very early which is unlike me, I woke up by 8am thinking I will meet up with my mum in the market but unfortunately for me I woke up late and when I called, she told me she went out already, so I was worried because I haven't really purchase cocoyam before without her help and the way prices of things are high over here in Nigeria, I was worried. I took the little cash I had, left my kids and hubby in bed, brush my teeth and headed out.
By 8:45am I was in the market and to my surprise everywhere was filled up, see me o thinking that today everyone will be in church since today is Easter HAPPY EASTER FRIENDS
Got to my market, I started looking for cocoyam and the price was very high, I nearly changed my mind to buy waterleaf and afang to make soup o then I remembered that I have promise my husband akpankuwo (special Akwa Ibom food cooked with cocoyam) so I continued searching and the weather changed to a cloudy one, I was not shaken I still stayed searching for cocoyam leaf so I can use it to wrap it and the high cost of it was scaring.

I stayed in the market till 10:30am, then I decided to go, came back home, prepared yam for my kids and husband then stayed right in the kitchen to prepare the meal. By 3pm the food was ready, I was so tired that I couldn't eat it, I just safe down staring at the food. I told my husband to feed the kids let me rest a little.

Just when I wanted to rest, my mum called told me she is back that she bought some mango fruit for me, so I took the food to the market to her, got the market and came back to the house and when I came back, I took my daughter to the hair stylist to make her hair for me she finish plaiting her hair by 5pm and by 5:30 someone came visiting, we entertained him then, stayed and prayed thanking God for coming to died for us and making us free from all guilt label against us.

By 6pm, we sang songs, danced and worship God together till 6:30pm.

It was a hectic day but the end of it was satisfying. Though I'm feeling tired and sleepy but I'm grateful for today and today I had the opportunity to shared my meal with my parents in-law and I feel so delighted about it.
