How to Protect Your Bitcoin: Blockchain.info Moving

Dear Steemit friends,

There has been a relatively important news out recently, which has not been discussed much in the social media. Blockchain.info (which is an online crypto wallet) is moving and is forcing their users to move their wallets manually. Additionally, there is a deadline for writing down your recovery phrase / seed. The deadline is 29th of July 2018.

What happens to your wallet and funds if you miss the deadline is not certain. In this video, I show where you can find your seed in the Blockchain.info wallet and how to use the seed to restore the wallet with another software: Electrum. Electrum is a desktop wallet. Desktop wallets are generally more secure than online wallets.
