The friction of a Facebook friend has consequences in real life
Do not rush to delete someone from Facebook. A new study shows that socializing in the social network brings serious consequences to real life, writes Business Daily.
40 percent of people surveyed said they would avoid the person who removed them from their profile. 50 percent would not do that.
At the same time, women are most likely to avoid the person who has been attracted to them when they meet him on the street.
"People think social networks are just fun," said Christopher Cibona, author of the study and Ph.D. student at the University of Colorado. "What you do on these sites, however, has consequences in real life."
Ignoring a person on social sites can reduce his self-esteem, affect his self-control, and make him feel lonely.
