FOR various years now, the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) has been leading an activity they call the Pakistan Economic Forum where they put out a report distinguishing key qualities and shortcomings in the economy, and propose a healing way ahead.

The last such exercise finished up yesterday in an introduction made to senior government authorities in charge of financial administration, and the plan staked out by the gathering merits close investigation.
