Reflections and Delusions

Reflections and Delusions, what does it actually mean. Some times we look at shadows and they give a certain type of an interpretation to us. But we at large interpret them in the manner we desire and by our state of mind. What shadow may look like and Angel to one, may look like a devil to another. They can be reflections of our mind, and they can be delusionary also.

This is a picture of a Musical Fountain show at the river front in Dubai. It is always a pleasure for me to see these type of shows. They bring out the beauty in the place. While the water at night looks very dull, just by itself, but the shadows of the light makes it look bright and sparkling.

Just like these little lights sparkling up the whole place and bringing the beauty in it, life is also similar, We do not need always big things to be happy, just the small things of life can make our life equally pleasant and happy.

But at the same time shadows can create delusions. The reality may be something, but it can be manipulated to look glamorous.
There are 2 sides of the coin and like ways life also has 2 polarities, and the key is to stay balanced. While things may look attractive and glamorous, one must not get carried away with it. One must try to look at it's true nature and understand.

Shadows can create delusion, and sometimes give us a false picture. All that glitters is not gold.

A shadow of a Tree on the Beach. One may think it is a good place to rest in the shadow, but as the Sun rises and sets, this shadow also keeps changing with it is that shadows do protect us for sometime but it cannot protect us forever, we need to keep changing our positions to remain in the shade, and that too it will not be there forever to protect us.

A shadow is like a fiction, and illusion of the mind, the way we want to decipher it, but in real life we need to accept the truth and see the reality wholeheartedly.
This is one shadow image of me and family, while 3 of us are standing together, the shadow comes out as one image, as if it's a shadow of a single person.

No wonder, as a family we are one and united, and the shadow is just an expression of that.
