In our quest to succeed in life, sometimes we may be tempted to do things that goes against our very sense of morality. This could happen because we may see no way out of a difficult situation. But we must always stick to our core principles no matter what.

We all have our backgrounds depending on where we come from and the culture to which we are accustomed to. But we need to keep our grounds at all times. There is no point in losing ourselves over some short term benefit.

If we end up losing ourselves, we will not be able to retrace oursteps back home. I have seen numerous people doing all sorts of unscrupulous activity in order to earn something quick. This get-rich-quick mentality has destroyed many people in many societies and have ruined countless lives forever.

Other cases, it is usually the society we find ourselves that tends to dictate the lifestyle we choose to live. But that should not be the case. We need to stick to our core values and insticts that we grew up with and got accustomed to.

Never give in to anyone and never allow anyone to use you at any point in life. That should be the mindset as we leave our doorstep. It is extremely important for us not to betray our moral code but stick to our principles no matter what.
