LOVE AND SELFIES ..A DAUGHTER ,MOTHER MOMENTS.

THEY GROW UP SO FAST * CALL HER ZOE JANELLE*
The selfie generation.I call it that, Janelle's gramz still calls it the 21st century.You can be the judge.its allover the place,its defining everything life stands for.It has given lots of people confidence and self esteem for a while I say because its just a facede for the outside world,for likes and not memories.Thats not really the point why am writing though.
Lets talk about mother-daughter pictures or selfies if you may....matching dresses,same hairstyles,heartwarming smiles. A SELFIE OF ME AND MY DAUGHTER JANELLE
I admit they are beautiful and i wish i had such with my mom.All i have is a few pictures of the both of us with the rest of the family ofcourse.
Issue is ,these babies ,they soon grow up take up their own lives and well eventually their own kids.
But question is do they remember these planned shots?? Do they remember the conversation you had right before they stroke that pose?? Will they remember what you where celebrating that day? Will they ever know if you were celebrating their life or maybe loving mummy was just vying pictures for some social media platform.
Give me anyday and i will pick my old color faded pictures with mom that i protect like my pass to heaven over the trending selfies,i will pick that picture of us laughing because there was rice on my face..i'll take that picture of her carrying my short self because it reminds me how much i cried whenever she had to travel.Iwill always remember that picture of me in my uniform and a frowny face while mom smiled because that was my first day at school. EARLY TODAY BEFORE SHE WENT SCHOOL AND ME TO WORK
In the end..its always going to go back to the memories i make with Janelle (my daughter)documented or undocumented,liked or unliked because those never get washed away.They are kept in the safest place with us.
We do get goofy sometimes,isnt it just fun as well?
I will say everyday to me and my daughter is definetely a fresh selfie day. EVERYDAY IS A SELFIE DAY
