Filipino Dish: Ginataang Ubod Ng Niyog (Heart of Coconut Tree)

I cooked ginataang ubod ng niyog for the lunch dish of my family.
The main ingredients for the dish I cooked are the ubod ng niyog and the coconut milk.
The first thing to do is clean the ubod ng niyog. Chop to the desired cuts.
Prepare the grated coconut for extracting the coconut milk.
Do not add water for the first extract and set aside.
Add a liter of water for the second extract and set aside. Then in a pan saute onion, garlic and ginger. Add the ubod ny niyog. Add the second extract of coconut milk. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
When about to cook, add salt and magic sarap to taste. Then add the first extract of coconut milk. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
I serve hot for lunch meal of my family.
