In this post, I am going to discuss one of the most popular countries in the world, Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia, officially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), is a country in West Asia. It covers the vast majority of the Arabian Peninsula, with an area of approximately 2,150,000 km2 (830,000 sq mi). Saudi Arabia is the fourth largest country in Asia, the largest in West Asia, and the second-largest in the Arab world. It is bounded on the west by the Red Sea, on the north by Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait, on the east by the Persian Gulf, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, on the southeast by Amman, and on the south by Yemen. Bahrain is located on the east coast.

The Gulf of Aqaba in the northwest, with a maximum width of 24 km (15 miles), separates Saudi Arabia from Egypt. Saudi Arabia is the only country to have a coastline along both the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf, and most of its territory consists of barren deserts, slopes, plains, and mountains. Its capital and largest city are Riyadh. The country is home to Mecca and Medina, the two holiest cities in Islam.
