The Diary Game: 12/12/2021 - Attending a Military Program and My Journey back to Kumasi

Dear Diary,

The week has been a long one and well i am quite excited that today i get to be back to my hood, my home, it has also been quite the tiring day owing to the events that unfolded but i am going to share every detail with you, stay with me.

So i woke up as early as 6am because i had to attend a military ceremony at the military academy over there in Accra and knowing how strict they are with their time and rules i had not intention of been late. The program started at 8am with an amazing parade display.

Afterwards we had a church service which was officiated by military personnel and an awards ceremony for some of the distinguished military cadets. It was really fun time, just that the event took quite longer than i expected and so when all was said and done and i was leaving Accra it was a little past 1.

On my way back myself and my travelling companion stopped at Linda Dor Rest Stop to buy some rice because we both were quite hungry owing to the fact that we hadn't really eaten because we woke up too early. I finally got back home around 6:30pm and quickly made arrangements for Ghana radio talkshow which i co hosted with Nigeria promoters.

Well currently as i share my day with you, i must say i am completely drain of energy and very much exhausted however i have a duty to perform and i seek to so by spending some time here to support my fellow country folks. And so i would end my day's story here and hopefully we get to continue tomorrow.
