Time With the Ladies: A Virtual Seminar

Today we had the second edition of the ladies seminar hosted by magcarnie and in attendance were collinz, awuahbenjamin, rubilu123, oppongk, njaywan, chenty, tymes2, rashid, senanu hadjah, gladys azalekor and albertoducrutor. The meeting was hosted to talk to a female newbie and three other ladies about the blockchain.

There were all signed up however some had become inactive and so we sought to educate them and also find out what went wrong and why they decided to stay back and just relax from the system. Magcarnie did the introduction of the ladies and afterwards left it to njawan to speak a little about investment.

Njaywan

He talked about how getting people who can transact on the blockchain will help the blockchain growth and how that is a great investment for the blockchain. He also mentioned that we seek to get the masses to patronize steem such that it would easily be seen as a basic currency the way bitcoin rules and at that point we will really enjoy the blockchain and be proud of where we have reached.

Added that whenever we put ourselves out there we investment in steem because we invest our time too. And the point where everyone hears of steem even when they not that's when promo work can relax so for now we have so much to do. We need to get to the point where Elon musk will tweet about steem. A question about becoming a promoter was asked for which it was explained that we are all promoters that the community is just the forefront the activities.

Opponk

Oppongk talked about self sufficiency and powering up. He looked at the time in the future to come where we must all be able to stay afloat even if there is not curator to pass around and hence the need and importance of powering up consistently on a daily basis or as long as payout comes. This give us so much benefit and if only we will keep up then we will have a stronger community full of stronger Ghanaian steemians together.

Collinz

He added by saying that when that point comes then we can truly support our members as Ghanaians and newbies that come and things would be so much fun and exciting and many would by the be rushing to be a part of the platform. He is eager for this future knowing that it would soon come.

Conclusion

The meeting ended at 1pm and hour after it started thus 12:00pm and it was so much fun and full of lessons. I was glad i got to be part and i look forward to more to come. Many thanks for the invitation and thanks to all who made it.
