Lapu-lapu City Hall, Lapu-lapu

Lapu-lapu City Hall - is a two-storey building that generally operate its standard time from 8:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon from Monday to Friday and closes every Saturday, Sunday and holidays, though may differ in timing during special occassions.

It is located in Pusok Road, Pusok Lapu-lapu City, 6015 Cebu, Philippines, which it containing a land area of 1,000 sq. m. more or less, inwhich the facade has a signage in the triangular-shape concrete partition in red colored-roof roofing.

In fact, the cityhall was managed by the Lapu-lapu City government under the Chan administration, namely from mayor Cindi King Chan to former mayor and now congressman Junard "Ahong" Chan and counsel.

That with specific area likes the mayor's office, vice-mayor's office, treasurer's office, conference room, session hall, PAO, COMELEC, city assesors office, registry of deeds, CSWDO, city health and others, that with designated office schesule and timing.

In the ground floor, it will view the different painting that highlight the historic resort city and its pride, inspiration to Ferdinand Magellan - a Portuguese man that serves the King of Spain and became a Spanish navigator who visited in Mactan on April 27, 1521 which is also the Battle of Mactan happened, they fought with the native hero of Barangay Mactan which is Khalifa Lapu aka Datu Lapu-lapu.

When Junard "Ahong" Chan became the mayor of Lapu-lapu, he showed the Oponganon a replica of the miraculous Virgin de Regla in the cityhall, and told them the story about the image inwhich the storytelling encourages more devotions to the Nuestra Señora de Regla, which then the inhabitants decided to make the beloved image to became the patron saint of Lapu-lapu, inwhich the replica of the miraculous image was adorned and placed in the main entrance, and it was decided that in every 21st of November of each year would be the fix feast celebration date of the image.

Going to the second-floor, you will be using the concrete stairway and walk by foot, since the buildibg is bit an old design, so no elevator and no escalator but much better because you'll do an exercise.

There are also designated seats provided for visitor which going to visit the cityhall and can be able to sit when it feels tired in travel, inwhich these are seats provided by LGU which are made of wood and aluminum frame that can be able to stand for a long time.

The toilet is well-maintained, cleaned, and sanitized which it has a utility worker that cleans on the post every now and then.
