BANDA ACEH || Walikota Banda Aceh, H Aminullah Usman SE Ak MM Membuka even olahraga di Banda Aceh digelar sesering mungkin. Hal ini disampaikan Aminullah saat membuka turnamen Volley Ball antar klub se Kota Banda Aceh, Selasa malam (19/9/2017) di Gedung Olahraga Koni Aceh Beberapa waktu yang lalu. Dalam kesempatan tersebut beliau juga mengatakan bahwa olahraga bukan hanya sebatas hoby atau instrumen untuk dipertandingkan, namun selain hiburan, silaturrahmi, meningkatkan prestasi, kebanggaan, menangkal narkoba, olahraga juga berdampak pada perekonomian masyarakat. Dengan adanya event olah raga, pedagang eceran, tukang parkir dan beberapa pelaku ekonomi lain akan langsung merasakan manfaatnya. Olahraga juga mampu menangkal bahaya narkoba di kalangan masyarakat, terutama bagi generasi muda. Karena, dengan berolahraga generasi muda tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk mengenal narkoba. Sementara itu dalam waktu yang bersamaan Ketua Ikatan Pemuda Olahraga (IPORA) Aceh, Saiful Bahri yang juga ketua panitia turnamen mengatakan even ini diikuti oleh 11 klub dalam kota Banda Aceh, dengan total hadiah Rp. 46,5 juta, yang merupakan program dari Dispora Kota Banda Aceh dalam rangka meningkatkan prestasi olahraga, terutama cabang Volley Ball di Banda Aceh. ***#Salam olahraga***
