Tribute to Frank Frazetta

Last night after work I was flipping the pages of the same ImagineFX magazine issue to find the sketch for todays post and I bump into a page about Frank Frazetta and read the article (something I rarely do with a magazine)

And Ive just found out that Frank Frazetta passed away in May 2010

I was so out of touch with the industry and blind, I even bought the August 2010 issue of the magazine and didnt even realised it.
He was one of the artists which paintings and sketches had me staring on in a bookstore back then for hours because I didnt have the money to buy them.

So Ive decided to pay a tribute by sketching his sketch (I know doing Frank Frazetta's pencil is crazy, but I will try my best) Also I had some milage back then when I was younger with male anatomy.

Process

Here are the animated gif of the whole process, which I think took close to 4 hours. Luckily Ive guess the fit on the paper correctly this time and didnt have any portion clipped. For this Ive used a 4H, H and a 9B pencil.
