WOMEN AND TECHNOLOGY

A lot of you have heard of women in tech: used to talk or describe woman working in the information technology field, in industry mostly computer. ## What is technology ## This has been defined as the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes mostly in industry. Also an advances in computer technology, machinery and equipment developed from the application of scientific knowledge. ## Woman ## A human who is an adult and is a female.

But why the switch in my title.

Before women were just incorporated into a few skills in technology but now there is passion, excitement for technology.

This involves the linking of two or more computers to share resources. These resources includes but are not limited to printer, scanner, data, files etc.

Server

A computer that shares it's resources with others. A server is a of computer either hardware or software (computer program) that provides functionality for other programs or devices, called "clients". This is called the client–server model. Servers can provide various functions, often called "services", such as sharing data or resources among multiple clients or performing computations for a client. A single server can serve multiple clients, and a single client can use multiple servers. A client process may run on the same device or may connect over a network to a server on a different device.

Clients

A client is a piece of computer hardware or software that accesses a service made available by a server as part of the client–server model of computer networks. The server is often on another computer system, in which case the client accesses the service by way of a network.
