THE LANGUAGE CHILDREN UNDERSTAND
Source
The language every child understands without tutoring is play. No matter how hard you try to make them serious at their job, they need a touch of jumping around for that task to be successful. Play is an essential part of a child’s life and no child should be denied of this. I am a lover of children, and I never fail to show it when I am around with them.
Children are energetic beings capable of doing just anything and on time if turned into a playful task. They would perform beyond your expectation if the task is turned into a game.
If you have a task to carry out and you want it speedily done, gather children and start a game.
Say for instance, you bought lots of oranges and you need to get them into the store but you feel a bit tired, just start of a game of orange counting. Tell the children that the person that carries more oranges wins the game and would have the opportunity to have your phone for one hour. Seat down and watch them seriously compete. In less than few minutes, everything is done. Better still, they would not remember why they are carrying oranges; they would rather focus on competing.
Got another chore still? Start another competition. If you wish to go from one competition to another, trust me children are ready for it. Their level of innocence remains topnotch.
Apart from getting things done on time, games such as this helps children develop strength, improves their self-esteem, increase attention to details, teamwork, optimism, cheerfulness, liveliness, increased happiness index, and lots more.
Children are naturally happy people and would welcome any activity that gives keeps them happy.
