Almost 93miles away from downtown Sao Paulo is Ilha da Queimada Grande. This Island is also known as Snake Island. As per the researchers, there is a high chance of finding 1 to 5 snakes per square meter. This island is one of the Forbidden Island.
This Island has very rare and unique species of snakes called, Golden Lancehead. These snakes grow over half a meter long and possess powerful poison that melts the flesh around their bites.

The snakes have become trapped on the island because of increasing sea level and survive on migrated birds. That's the only reason their population has become quite dense on Snake Island.
