Amazing World Part 3 - Twins Village - Kodinhi ( India)

The curiosity of twins started back in 2006 in Kodinhi. There were 2 sisters, twins, in class. When school authorities observed the twins, they were stunned to find 8 pairs of twins in one single class and 24 pairs in the whole school. The news spread like fire and soon researchers established research centres in the village itself.

They took saliva and hair samples of the twins and started to conduct their research. But till date, none of the research could bring the actual reason for twin birth in this village. Some say it is genetic while some claim that it could be due to air or water of the village.

Irrespective of where the villagers came from, or what religion they belong to, the phenomenon of twins birth is increasing drastically in last 3 decades. There are more than 400 pairs of twins in the populate of 2000. There is no sign of deformities. All the twins are healthy by birth.
