With frame and glass

On this pleasant day, when I was in junior secondary school, I complained to my mother about a tearing and reddish eye, especially whenever I’m in the sun, and the inability to see afar (myopia). Then she took me to an ophthalmologist, who did a series of tests, prescribed drugs, and gave me an eye drop.

I thought that would be over, but the issue persists. I visited the ophthalmologist again, did an eye test, and was given a photochromic eyeglass.

After I visited an ophthalmologist, the tearing and reddish eye reduced. The inability to see afar and having blurring vision gave me a lot of concern, which is why I’m presently using medicated eyeglasses.

I guess the problem started when I was very little. I sit so close to the screen to watch television, which gives me a teary eye, and whenever I wake up, I wake up with a swollen and reddish eye.

When I was given my glasses, I was instructed to wear them every time. But then I felt so weird wearing glasses; I was not really comfortable wearing them while walking; I felt all eyes would be on me.

But then, as time went on, I discovered I was so cute in it. With time, I love how they look on me.

Advantage

• Ability to see clearly
• It protects the eyes from UV light (photochromic lens)
• It protects the eye from dust and dirt.
• They help to correct vision with time.

Disadvantage

• They can be expensive.
• It has an expiration date.
• They can be broken easily.

Generally, in some cases, with time, it automatically takes over your beauty.

I have been using this lens since my 200L; that’s 2021. I do need to change my lenses soon. I discovered in class that my lenses are not as they were before. It’s becoming dim and already has a crack on its surface, which gives it an obstruction and makes it uncomfortable for me to see clearly with it.

I trust God to provide for me so I can change it as soon as possible.
